Did you know that Next Generation Science Standards for Today's Students and Tomorrow's Workforce have been released? "Through a collaborative, state-led process managed by Achieve, new K-12 science standards have been developed that are rich in content and practice, arranged in a coherent manner across disciplines and grades to provide all students an internationally benchmarked science education.
The Framework provides a sound, evidence-based foundation for standards by drawing on current scientific research - including research on the ways students learn science effectively - and identifies the science all K-12 students should know."
The NGSS is based on the Framework for K-12 Science Education developed by the National Research Council. Infinitec's 4 out of 5 member states have participated as Lead States in this endeavor.
