Presented by Gary Franks
Asthma is a disease that affects the lungs and is one of the leading causes of school absence due to illness. Asthma is chronic. There is no cure, so those students who have asthma will always have asthma. With that in mind, it's imperative that we as educators learn the characteristics and management of asthma to provide a healthy and safe learning environment.
