Teachers...  You Can Now Earn Graduate Credit for Certain Infinitec Online Trainings 

Thanks to a partnership between Infinitec and Midwest Teacher Institute, Infinitec members can earn three hours of graduate credit for completing MTI-543 - Understanding Autism which includes 10 videos from the Infinitec Online Classroom. Periodically,we also offer MT-544 - The Changing Role of AT Teams, an online blended-learning course which is also eligible for graduate credit under this program.  Click here for details about earning credit for these courses..

Kindle Books Now Accessible to Students Who Are Blind

How to Use Amazon's Alexa on iOS Devices

icon for AmazonWhat? Use Alexa instead of Siri? Yes, you can now query Alexa on your iPhone or iPad. Simply download the Amazon app (not Amazon Alexa app--you will need that app if you want to ask about weather or traffic.) Use the microphone at the top to interact with Alexa. Read this article for more specifics.  I did find it hasn't been fully enabled in iOS yet. I could only use it for shopping, but I expect that to change.

Clicker logoIf you're a Clicker 7 user, you should check out this new template. It's called Ask and Answer and allows the recording of 6 questions to which students can reply. It's quick and easy, but won't work if you haven't upgraded to Clicker 7.

Here you will find instructions to create your own 5.5 x 8" binder which includes a First/Then board, a Personal Picture Schedule, a Task Analysis Checklist, a Finished Pocket on the front cover, a Token Reward board on the back cover and room for the picture symbols and tokens inside the binder, along with plastic tabbed dividers covered in adhesive carpet tiles. Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

college board logoThe College Board, the developer of SAT and PSAT has announced it is streamlining the process for testing accommodations. Now, students who receive testing accommodations as part of an IEP or 504 Plan will have the accommodations automatically approved for taking the SAT, the SAT/NMSQT, the PSAT 10, SAT Subject Tests and AP exams.
