The pace of technology development and availability has greatly outpaced the rate of education and training available to families, teachers, therapists, and others who support individuals with CCN. A greater discussion is needed regarding various approaches to teaching language via AAC. *** Learning Outcomes: *Participants will describe at least 5 different forms of prompting. *Participants will be able to describe the difference between partial verbal prompting versus modeling desired skills. *Participants will be able to identify at least one unintended outcome often associated with over-prompting.
