Presented by Kathy Oehler, SLP and Cheryl Boucher, OT *** "I hate to write!" How often have we felt the frustration of our reluctant writers as they face yet another writing task! Writing in today's classroom is a high stakes skill. It affects both academic achievement and behavior. All too often the language, organization, motor, and sensory demands of writing overwhelm our reluctant writers, especially those with Executive Function differences such as Learning Disability, Autism, and ADD. This session will focus on easy to implement strategies that teachers can use to help set students up for success and help ALL kids become happy, successful writers.
