In this webinar, staff from the National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE), the U.S. Department of Education’s technical assistance center for the federal Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program, will explore • the dynamics of family and youth homelessness, and their effects on school access and success; • common signs of homelessness that educators may recognize within the school context; • key provisions from federal law that seek to promote educational access, stability, and success for children and youth experiencing homelessness; and • steps the specialized instructional support personnel and other educators can take to support the education of students in homeless situations.
