This session is designed for those who are looking for visual support strategies, including educators, SLPs, OTs, PTs, AT Specialists, Social Workers, assistants, administrators. What Is It? Getting everyone involved in a class activity is a struggle, even for the most seasoned professional. It takes thoughtful planning, time, and tremendous support to produce standard-based universally designed activities into today’s diverse classrooms. Students with disabilities are frequently an afterthought to the general education curriculum. This is not by design, but a result of not enough time to develop lessons with the desired supports to make the lessons meaningful and come to life for all students. If you want to see a new twist on an old idea, join us for an exciting hour of ready-to-go solutions developed by teachers for teachers
