Presented by Kristine Bretl, M.Ed., BCBA, and Educational Consultant for Autism, Behavior, Technology Supports, Inc. One of the primary evidence-based practices that are identified for students with autism is a Functional Behavior Assessment. Schools need to know how to identify the function of behavior and how to use the evidence-based interventions that match that function. This webinar will focus on how to do a good school based functional behavior assessment and how to determine function through that process. Information on the interventions that are based on research to match each function will be shared and discussed. Participants will be provided with the evidence based resources for doing school based functional behavior assessments and writing good behavior intervention plans.
